Why We Built Job Connector
Job Connector AI started when Bangladeshi engineering students teamed up with American career coaches to dissect why brilliant classmates kept hearing nothing back. We recorded every ghosted email, every confusing ATS rejection, and every visa-timer deadline, then asked: what if AI could translate ambition across borders?
Two Bangladeshi American women founders—raised between Dhaka, New York, and Seattle—built the first prototype on borrowed laptops. They embedded their lived experience as immigrant daughters, scholarship kids, and software leads into every onboarding flow and feature decision.
Today a distributed crew of coaches, linguists, and ML engineers run weekly feedback circles with OPT students, IBA alumni, and first-time interns. We obsess over how to narrate campus projects for Wall Street recruiters, how to demystify visa paperwork, and how to keep confidence high before every interview.
